Passover Haggadah – Manuscript, Morocco, Illustrated Passover haggadah. Written by Yossef Ben Avraham Lezra. Morocco. [End of 18th century]. 46 leaves, 11 X 17 cm. The manuscript is full of primitive diagrams and illustrations in Moroccan style. With instructions in Arabic. Following the haggadah is a song that includes a summary of Passover laws called: “Yedidim Yotzim MePerech Anamim.” With the song “Leil Natir,” and with permission for the maphtir “Isab Rashu Min Kadam A-lla Rama.” With the Targum of the haphtarot read on the first day of Passover, on Shabbat Chol HaMoed and on the seventh day of Passover. The colophon, leaves [42-43] in an illustration spread over two entire pages, and reads “Yossef Ben Avraham, Lezra” three times.
