Fasciné par le monde arabe, il accompagne en 1875, avec Stefano Ussi, son ami Edmondo De Amicis dans la première mission italienne au Maroc, qui va sous la direction de S. Scovasso de Tanger à Fès (il illustre avec Ussi Marocco chez De Amicis, Milan 1877 ; les illustrations sont très populaires et sont achetées par l'éditeur Hachette pour l'édition française. En 1877, il accompagne De Amicis à Constantinople et illustre ensuite son oeuvre Constantinople (Milan 1878). Il participe à la vie artistique de Rome (De Angelis, 1954) : membre de la Société "In arte libertas", il est parmi les fondateurs (24 mai 1904) du "XXV de la Campagne Romaine", ce qui permet de ne pas limiter son activité exclusivement à celle de peintre "africaniste", pour lequel il est surtout connu.

He was born in Rome to a family originally from Brescia. He trained under his father. He initially worked in decorative paintings of houses. Biseo was invited by the Viceroy of Egypt to Alexandria, Egypt, to decorate his palace. This trip gave him subjects for future works as painter. He returned to the Muslim world; for example, in the company of Stefano Ussi and Edmondo De Amicis. They were part of the first embassy to Morocco.
With De Amicis, Biseo published a book on observations in Morocco and Costantinople, edited by the brothers Treves of Milan. In the 1887 Mostra di Venezia, he exhibited watercolors titled: Ricordi de Cairo.
