The primary section of the anthology (leaves 1-173) relates to medicine. The author was a Jewish doctor who quotes from tens of classic Christian and Arabic medical works, and mentions cures from Jewish authors such as Isaac Israeli, Maimonides, Palquera and Yitzchak Tzahalon from the "Sha'arei Refuah V'Aruka MiSefer Amtachat Binyamin" and more. He also quotes lesser known doctors from other sources.
The second section of the anthology, 47 leaves in different hands and on different types of paper, discuss medicine, segulot, astrology and kabbalah, with sketches.
