Bab Sagma est une porte monumentale disparue qui tire son nom d'Amina Sagma, une dame pieuse enterrée près de ce site en 1737. La porte a été érigée à l'époque post-Mérinide et plus tard, rénovée par Moulay Hassan le 1er. Cette porte monumentale était impressionnante, considérant la taille et la distance entre les deux tours octogonales qui subsistent.

Bab Sagma took its name from Amina Sagma who was a pious lady buried near this site in 1737. The gate was erected during the post-Marinid era and later on renovated by Moulay Hassan the 1st. Surely, it was a monumental and impressive gate considering the distance between the two octogonal towers which remained after the destruction of the gate.
